United Methodist Women (UMW)

The United Methodist Women's organization was founded over 135 years ago. It has always had an emphasis on missions and outreach to women and children throughout the world. Our own group is over 100 years old. It is an active, caring hard working and fun loving group of ladies who are always willing to use their talents to raise funds for mission projects internationally and locally. They support
each other, our church family, our community, and encourage each other in their Spiritual growth. Our Mission projects are numerous. Many hours are devoted to Monarch School, New Entra Casa, Operation Christmas Child, Good Neighbor Center, and Storefront Shelter.

There is a book group, a prayer group, and an exciting new quilt ministry was started in 2004. In addition UMW members can always be counted on to host special events, receptions, and memorial services at out church.

We welcome all women of the church to join us for fellowship. We have one evening Circle and one morning Circle. They meet once a month from September to May. There is also a monthly combined meeting.
