Reverend Robert Fuesler has been Minister of St. Paul's since 2016.   Rev. Fuesler has been in full-time ministry since 1993, serving four UM churches in California. He obtained his Master of Divinity from the Claremont School of Theology (CST) in 1996 and was ordained in 1997. Pastor Robb was recently accepted into a CST Doctor of Ministry program in “Spiritual Renewal, Contemplative Practice, and Strategic Leadership.”  Before attending seminary, he was a Deputy Probation Officer in Imperial County, and also worked as a Protective Services Worker for the State of Nebraska. Pastor Robb has significant experience in youth, young adult, and camping ministries. He enjoys body surfing, golfing, watching movies, reading theology, and drinking coffee!

Marcie Warmer is the Administrator of St. Paul's.  Mrs. Marcie Warmer has been at St. Paul's since 1988 and first came to Coronado in 1985, moving from New England. Wife of the late Craig Warmer, Marcie has 2 sons, 2 daughters and has been graced with 8 grandchildren. She coordinates the daily operations at the church office as well as the various activities that occur at the church during the week. She also serves the church as Wedding Coordinator and assists the Pastor in visitation, evangelism, Baptisms and congregation and as our community liaison. 


Marty Horvath is the Facilities Manager and is responsible for the physical upkeep of the church and grounds. He has been a long-time member of St. Paul's and our former Youth Director. Marty served in the U.S Army and was deployed to Iraq.  For that service he was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his actions.  


Charlie Higgins is Director of Music at St. Paul's Methodist where he coordinates all aspects of the church music program, including the Chancel Choir for Traditional Services and the Praise Band for Contemporary Services.  A Coronado resident since 1984, Charlie has been at St Paul's since 1999.  He has served many other churches in music prior to St. Paul's, and has taught various school band and  music programs. Charlie has a Bachelor of Music degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, and a Master's of Arts in Music and Education from SDSU and Chapman University. In addition to the church music ministry, Charlie plays jazz style piano professionally and teaches piano. Charlie and his wife Susan enjoy living a full life in beautiful Coronado.

David Kay is the church Organist, Assistant Music Director and Technology Support Consultant.  He is a native of Kansas and graduated from KU with a degree in Music Education.  Upon graduation, he joined the Navy and was sent to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.  After detaching from the Navy in 1972, he taught business subjects in a junior college in Honolulu for 10 years and then worked as a legal secretary in San Diego until retirement in 2011.  In Honolulu and in San Diego, David has been a church organist and sung in opera and civic choruses.  He joined the staff of St. Paul's in September of 1996. 


Youth Director - Liz Thaete Flage was raised in Coronado and graduated from Westmont College in 2009 with a degree in Biology and Psychology. Psychology. After graduating, she lived in Santa Cruz teaching at a Christian outdoor education camp leading groups of Middle School students. She is married to Josh, who plays drums in our Praise and Worship Band.


Rev. Neal Keller has been Pastor of St. Paul's since 1996. He is a native of San Diego and a graduate of San Diego State University. Neal has bee


n in ministry since graduating from Asbury Seminary in 1974. He and his wife Sherry are the parents of two sons, Nick and Stuart. His passion for Christ is shown in his dedication to leading our church to be one known for loving Christ and loving our neighbors. In his spare spare time you can find him either surfing or flying model airplanes.
