Habitat for Humanity Build - March 1 & 2, 2019

Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Its vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes and pay an affordable mortgage. On March 1 & 2, Habitat will be working with a Coalition of 15 United Methodist Churches to build one home in El Cajon - St. Paul's will be joining the fun!

Registration to help build will begin in January. More specific information will be publicized throughout the next few weeks. You must be 16 years or older to build, but you don't need any prior knowledge or experience. Here are all the ways everyone will be able to participate:

  • Prayers!!!
  • Register to build on site (16 yrs and up)
  • Builder's Bucket (more info soon)
  • Donate

Look for more details in the coming weeks.  Questions? Email the church office.

Local, National, & International Missions

St. Paul's is involved with missions locally, throughout the US, and around the world.

Local missions include New Entra Casa, the Good Neighbor Center, and Metro. This past summer, the youth group served in Oregon, and past groups have traveled to the Dominican Republic. The church also supports relief efforts of UMCOR (www.umcor.org) and missionaries in Mexico and France.

Many opportunities arise to support these organizations, through donations of time, food, clothing, and financial support.
